December,
2004, a black month to all of us. Hundreds and thousands of people were killed by the terrible tsunami. What did the Singaporeans
do when the disaster suddenly happened? With the question, we dicided to do the survey.
The procedure of our survey
First of all,
my partner and I decided our topic together. Then we designed our questionnaire and practised on oral expression.
After fully prepared, we went to East Cost Park
and carried on our survey. Although we were rejected a few times, most of them were friendly to us. Thanks to their cooperation,
we had a favorable survey.
Meaning of our findings
After finishing
our survey and analyzing the information, we got to know that most of Sigaporeans did very well in the tsunami relief efforts.
They helped tsunami victims a lot and showed their concerns. They are a group of kind of generous people.
